On the proximal end of this long bone, note the "hockey-puck-like" appearence of structure-A, as well as the raised surface (B) that tells you this in the anterior view of this bone.

Then, if you remember that the sharp ridge (C) faces medial while the sharp point (D) is lateral, you should be able to work out if this bone is from the left or right side.
